About Mr. Zhang Jun and His Mineral Collection
Mr. Zhang Jun is a native of Chenzhou, Hunan province, China, a land renowned for its rich and diverse mineral resources. Growing up immersed in such a profound mineral culture, it seems fate had destined Zhang Jun to forge a deep connection with crystals.
Since 2009, Mr. Zhang has been collecting mineral specimens, venturing deep into mining areas to study mineral formation and deposits. His explorations have taken him across China, including Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Yunnan, and Inner Mongolia, where he has sourced exquisite mineral specimens while amassing an impressive collection. His passion and dedication have led to a continuously expanding array of minerals, particularly renowned for rare gem-quality pieces and high-end crystal specimens that have earned him international acclaim.
Due to space limitations, only a portion of his extraordinary collection is currently on display. Since 2014, Mr. Zhang has participated in prestigious global mineral and gem exhibitions, including the Changsha International Mineral & Gem Show, the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show in the USA, and the Hunan International Mineral & Gem Expo. His collection has become a focal point for enthusiasts and has been featured in exclusive collector exhibitions, such as those at the China Geological Museum, the Hunan International Mineral & Gem Expo, and the Huangshi International Mineral & Gem Expo.
