A piece of green fluorite with quartz, originating from Yaogangxian, Chenzhou, Hunan Province. The overall shape of this fluorite is closer to a rhombus. The entire fluorite crystal is epigrowth (grows atop) the quartz. The edges of the green fluorite are bordered with a purple hue. The front surface of the fluorite retains fine, dense growth lines, which glitter brightly under the reflection of light. On both the left and right sides of the fluorite, white calcite crystals have crystallized, resembling a layer of frosting. This Yaogangxian fluorite specimen is not only as visually appealing as a dessert but also possesses excellent qualities as a mineral specimen.
